A CYCLIC VIEW OF HISTORY
Grab one of our bikes and join us on a colorful ride in the fabled Kampos area. Kampos means “meadow” in Greek and, as if taken out of a fairytale, it’s a historic land of centuries-old, aristocratic mansions, fragrant orchards, and citrus groves.
Our expert biker Evristheas, a local who knows every corner and narrow street of Kampos by heart, will guide you through a thoughtfully-tailored 8km route with stops along the way to further explore the distinctives tone walls, the adorned cisterns, the pebbled streets, the medieval villas, and the verdant orangeries. We start and end our journey at Perivoli café (former Citrus Museum), where you can visit the exhibitionand taste homemade delicacies. On our map is also the celebrated Argentikon Luxury Hotel, a 14th century stone villa immersed in citrus trees, that we can enter for a walk. The chapel of Agios Ioannis “Fakas” with its moving murals, nestled among the pine forest, is another must-see.
Kamari Blue Ride’s bike tours can accommodate up to 8 people and can last up to 1h 30 minutes depending on the group’s level and speed. Kampos is flat land with cool weather during summer thanks to its endless groves, which makes it ideal for a comfortable cycling experience, accessible to people of all levels.
