VENETIKO
SCUBA DIVING TRIPS
Venetiko is approximately 15 nautical miles distance from the diving center. Due to the wind effects, we separate the islet in four different dive sites depending weather. Each dive site differs in the things we will see underwater, but they are all surrounded by the extraordinary marine life of Mediterranean Sea. Usually, we separate these 4 dive sites in a 2 day-2 dives schedule:
Heading West of Ventiko, as we begin the dive, we come across a magnificent wall, covered by a beautiful fish net, at about 15 m. While swimming and watching this pleasant sight, surrounded by marine life , we start descending gradually until we have reach the rocky bottom and we continue the dive by exploring it.
Heading North, except of the rocky wall, we also go through an underwater canyon, in which the view is amazing. The canyon has a variety of beautiful fish and we also see sponges and anemones.
The East side of Venetiko is far the most interesting site of the fourth. It consists of jaw-dropping big rocks and as you can imagine plenty marine life. The difference is that this rocks have lots of crevices, we find octopuses, cuttlefish and plenty different fish inside of them.
Last, but certainly not least, the South side of Venetiko is where we go deeper. Our descent will be gradual and during that descent we meet Aegean Sea ‘s prettiest creatures, such as groupers, tunas and amberjacks.
